Below are a few samples of the reviews, comments, and emails I’ve received regarding The Entangled Series. This is what makes it all worth it. It means the world to me to hear from you, and it helps tremendously to see these reviews where books are sold. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. I really appreciate all of you. Ox, DC

I was deployed to afghanistan in 2009-2010 with john *****. On one of our normal boring days he gave me “Entangled” to keep me occupied. I read it in a matter of days and loved it. He told me about the second one coming out but i never got around to it. I didnt get around to reading them until yesterday. I read “devils garden” and “mastermind” in two days. i couldnt stop reading haha. And i hate reading. I think by far they are the best books ive read. I owe john big. THANK YOU

BB

I have to say, I’m very pleasantly surprised by ENTANGLED. I started reading it and had to actually force myself to stop :) I’ve gotten 84 emails since posting the blog and have to deal with them. Reading ENTANGLED is for pleasure time. L8R…whenever “L8R” actually is (haha)

What a book. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised I have never read a book in a some what guy point of view but, I loved it(: the author is a sweetheart and she keep writing forever(:

Absolutely consuming. This book just completely consumes you. I love everything about it. I was totally pulled in by the connection with Levi and Mandy. It almost puts this long in you for it to be real. There’s not a dull moment throughout the whole story, which makes it hard to put it down to get your work done. lol I’ll be starting on the second book very soon and I cannot wait. There’s something about the book that makes you want more. I just love it. I think this is my new absolute favorite.

I like totally, like, love your books!!! OMG!!!

D.C.,

So, a week and a half ago as mass at St. ****’s finished up, I was chatting with a friend when your mom and dad came over to talk to her about your new book. Your mom (whom I have never met before) asked if I liked to read (I do) and handed me Entangled. She said to read it and pass it around, get the word out, etc.

I’ll be honest. One look at the cover and I was a tad skeptical. I got the impression it was going to be Twilight-esque. I do not read about vampires. But, I said I would read it. I started it either that night or the next. I could not put it down.

As a stay at home mom to two kids (ages 4 and 5) I must get up every day at the same time. I do not stay up late reading like in my pre-mom days. I was up until 2 am one night reading Entangled. Another night until midnight, I think. I finished it in two to three days (rather than in one sitting) because in order to avoid blood spillage I do actually have to monitor my kids and not just sit and read when I want, although they did get a bit more TV on the days I could not put the book down and wait for their bedtime.

I knew that The Devil’s Garden was only out as an e-book unless I wanted to remortgage the house to purchase it as a paperback on Amazon. But, I went against what I have repeatedly said about reading a book on a screen and downloaded it via Smashwords and read it on my desktop. Again, my kids watched a little too much TV as I snuck into my room to read more. My computer was having real issues and kept going to a blue screen and my husband (the computer whiz) was TDY, so I just used it in Safe Mode to read. I finished it in two and half days and picked up the first book to read it again. Other than children’s books that I must read over and over to the point of brain numbness, I do not re-read books. If I check out a library book and discover a few pages in that I have already read it, I close it and walk away even if I can’t remember the specifics of the story. Before one week had past I had read Entangled, read The Devil’s Garden, and re-read Entangled. I may read it again.

My husband returned from his TDY three days ago and I have told him he must read this book. He is at Chapter 9, I think. He and I are both Clive Cussler fans and I feel your writing reminds me of a cross between Clive Cussler and Janet Evanovich.

So, I just wanted you to know that enjoy the story and look forward to the third and final book, although I was hoping it would go on forever.

This book is about a young woman who wakes up one day and hears a man’s voice in her head!! A commando’s voice who can also hear her!! It’s hilarious right from the get go.. The action and detail is unbelievable.. You WANT them to be real people.. You’ll fall in love with all of the characters! Mandy is forces to do things both hysterical and challenging!

JS (forum)

I happened to check your website a couple days after you made it available on smashwords!  We loved it!!!!!!!!  I know we will buy the book when it comes out also!!!!  Now we just have to sit back wait for the next one. Love it….

It’s finally here! I downloaded The Devil’s Garden on Kindle and have already finished it!! It was worth the wait! I couldn’t put it down. I laughed out loud and Mandy and Levi’s antics and the fight scenes are so realistic. I feel like I know Kiser and the team and of course the dispicable Dappo. Read the first book ‘Entangled’ again and jump straight into the ‘Devil’s Garden! Now it’s time for book 3!

Can’t wait for the sequel! This book had everything I was looking for…action, romance, suspense, good-looking guys and a gal that had strength of character that even she did not know she possessed. My arms literally ached for days because I could not put it down…just when I thought I could get to a stopping point…I couldn’t stop. Can’t wait until the next one to come out. I feel like the Ross commercial, “Open, open, open.”…when I can crack open the cover of the next book.

What a super book! I just re-read it for the 3rd time. I still can’t put it down! It’s funny and exciting with lots of action and the perfect love triangle! A must read for any book lover!

C

Girl, I am so desperate for you to write the sequel to “Enchanted” that I am starting to write my own book…and it is not very good…I can make up the story in my mind but it is BORING when I write it down…I fall sleep trying to read it…I have the gift of gab but not the nose for prose…

CS Texas

Yeah!!! Can’t wait!!! @ C— should we start our cult following and dress up like characters from the book?? We could even camp out at a local bookstore waiting for the release!!!!

I’ve been meaning to send you an email for ages now. I was finally able to get ahold of your book at the library in August and read it. It was awesome!!! The twist with the mind reading/mind joining was something I’ve never even thought of before, let alone seen in a book. You have an amazing mind to come up with that. I really have to compliment your ability to grab a reader from the very beginning too. I’ve read gazillions of books, and there’s very few that draw you in that quickly. I was hooked by the time I’d made it through the first ten pages. I’ve recommended it to several people already, and I’m planning on buying myself a copy as soon as I get a chance. I absolutely can’t wait for the next one to come out!!! You have unbelievable talent!!!

I read the book, and I couldn’t wait to get back to it everytime I had to put it down. The story is a good one, very creative ! I’m looking forward to more! At first, I didn’t know what I would think about the idea of hearing someone elses thoughts, but you pull it off really well, and it’s done so realistically, that you get quite comfortable with the idea- I just really enjoyed the book; it is a great read!

RT Arkansas

I just finished your book and now I want to know where the hell Book 2 is. How long are you going to keep me in suspense? That is just mean.
Anyway, I loved it. It was fun and action packed. I am looking forward to the next one.

DC, it is a pleasure to be reviewing your book, ENTANGLED, with you. I know several of the ladies would enjoy your book and I will let recommend your book to them.

I just wanted to preface my personal review with the parameters of our Book Club, and I will have no desire to read any of Stephen King’s books, I have read some of Dean Koontz’ books and some of the vampire series by Anne Rice. However, my literary taste is changing and I read a variety of books but, as stated above, not fluff, dull, gothic books. Okay, enough of what I like and let me tell you my feelings which may be hard for me to express at times but let me try. I have a tendency to keep my inner feelings to myself.

I really enjoyed the book, period. When I finished it, I got into the last chapter and said to myself, now wait, NOOOOOOO, I must find out what happens with Mandy and Levi and Kaiser. I must find out if they get in trouble with the boss. I kind of got involved with the characters, they grew on me. And then you led me straight into Book Two. I could not read your “teaser” (and I mean that very fondly) into Book Two. I must wait until you complete Book Two and read it. I was deflated, what had she done to me - I want some more.

The story is a good one, interwoven well. Your fight scenes were very realistic and I could easily follow them as they developed. I must say that I had no idea that there was a connection between Levi and Mandy until Mandy found the doll in Levi’s closet. That is one section that I wish you would have elaborated more on, even though they were both children at the time, it seemed that you hit it quickly and then left right out of it. Truthfully, I had not even dreamed that there was any connection between the two - I just thought, hey, could this really happen, 2 total, complete strangers become connected by the blow to the head of one person? I thought it was conceivable after reading through that part of the book. I did enjoy it - as I previously said, good story and development.

One of these days I hope to meet you - I know you have a very wonderful future ahead as a writer - you have talent and a way to write that moves smoothly. Continued best of luck with your endeavors - blessings - PJ

That book was outstanding!! I thought the conversations that Levi and Mandy were having while listening to each other’s thoughts were hilarious as well as ingenious. I’ve never read a book like that so it was really refreshing. I can’t wait until the next one comes out. I find that I’m torn between Kiser and Levi….well actually I like Levi for Mandy better…so I can’t wait to see what you do with those three!! Good luck with this book and the ones to come!!

And I’m glad you weren’t as “mushy” as Stephenie Meyer J

HT New Hampshire.

I just have to say, “EXCELLENT JOB!” Great job developing your characters early on and making a connection with the reader…

I’m actually in the process of reading entagled and am enjoying it of course! I am finishing it up today! It has been a great read…you should be proud!

I’m reading Entangled now and loving it!

LL Arkansas

I have liked reading what you have written. I really got into the characters and felt like I knew them. I hated that I could not pick up Book 2 right then and start reading it.

Keep plugging away on Devils Garden. The new cover is very “eye catching”

I also really enjoyed The Ghost on Portal Island. It flowed well and keep me wondering what was going to happen.

Keep the imagination going. and keep pushing your book.

LT Arkansas

Great!!! Great!!! Great!!! This book had me on the first page. I had only one problem with the book…I didn’t want it to end. The interaction of the characters was very believable. I can’t wait for the next book.

JA Arkansas

This was an excellent read. Laughed through much of it. Excitement, danger, love, it has all the parts for a great book and a great series! Can’t wait for the next one to come out. You will be very glad you purchased this book.

I am here to tell you that this is a book for everyone. From a male stand-point, I was a little misled by the cover. Once I started reading it though, I could not put it down. It has action, humor, and not-over-done romance. There isn’t another book like this on the market. The author has a witty, unique writing style that kept me laughing through out the book. I thouroughly enjoyed it and believe it is a “Must Read”, come on book number two!

E South Dakota

This was an awesome book. I couldn’t put it down. I think it has just the right amounts of everything. It was action all the way through. Everytime I would think it was past the climax of the book something else even better and more exciting would happen. I am just so sad that the other book isn’t out yet.

AS Arkansas

I must agree with the other reviews. I also did not know what to expect from the title of the book, but it’s quite clear once you get into it. You immediately get drawn to the characters and can start to visualize them as individuals and start to feel what they are going through. I too found myself laughing out loud as I read because the dialogue is quick and at times hysterical. I cannot wait to see what’s in store for Mandy and Levi in the next book and I, for one, would love to meet Kiser!

C Texas

This book is a must read! It is action packed and has everything from romance to humor. Mandy had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. The characters in this book are so engaging and so personal, you feel like you really know them by the end of the book. A couple of the characters really had my blood pressure up….If I could just smack Madoc I would! I can’t wait for book two!!

CW Arkansas

I love this book!! I could not put it down. Very action packed. I can’t wait for book 2!!

CB

I loved this book. I couldn’t seem to put it down after I started reading it. Everytime I thought I was past the climax of the book, it would get even more exciting and more action packed. I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait til the next book is out.

D Arkansas

This book was so amazing, I couldn’t put it down. The author puts you into the action on the very first page! She makes it so real that you can almost feel what they felt, smell what they smell. I laughed out loud on several occasions and I was on the edge of my seat on others. I have never loved a book so much. I cant wait for the next one.

Anon

i loved the book =^.^= it took me awhile 2 get used to the military style but i got used to it and can understand some military terms now =^.^= excited for the second book haha
