Levi’s elite commando unit is trapped deep within the jungle. He certainly doesn’t have time to be hearing things, especially the incessant female voice invading his mind. The mission is in shambles and the enemy is closing in. Now is not the time to go crazy.
Mandy doesn’t like someone else thinking in her head. She doesn’t know who Levi is or how he got into her mind, but he’s eavesdropping on private property. Their thoughts entangle, their lives collide. It’s driving her nuts!
Mandy grabbed the phone book and slammed it onto the coffee table, plopping backward onto the sofa behind her, then looked around. Where was the phone?
“Uh, if … you’re going to make a phone call anyway, then would … you call my buddy first?”
Mandy reached for the phone with clumsy hands and snorted. “Okay, seriously.”
“Please? I mean, before you have me exorcized?”
“Oh, no,” she chortled. “I’m not calling anyone for you. I’ll be thrown in the nut house. And don’t bother asking me to kill anyone! I won’t do it,” she informed the ceiling. “I saw that movie.”
Mandy flipped urgently through the yellow pages in search of an exorcist.
There was no listing.
“Don’t exorcists advertise?” she complained, slapping the book.
